Summer Makeup: Look of the Day

This weekend has been the hottest yet here in the UK, which usually means I don’t like to wear a ton of makeup only to sweat it off again in the heat. What I do like is a glowing skin, bright eyeshadow and brows that stay in place no matter how hot it gets so I came up with this look to tick all my summer beauty boxes.

I adore the L’Oreal True Match Foundation but the shade is a little too dark for me so I mixed a tiny amount with Soap & Glory tinted moisturiser and applied it with a stippling brush and blending sponge.

For stay-put brows, I opted for the NYX gel which is waterproof and then applied L’Oreal Eye Paint in Sunset Goals all over the lid and blended two pinky-gold shades from the Morphe palette into the outer corner.

I finished with a little blush and highlight and the Bourjois liquid lipstick in peach club, which is a gorgeous shade but sadly doesn’t stay put on my lips no matter what I do!
