With June having disappeared just as quickly as it arrived, it’s time for a new monthly favourites post. Since I previously did a skincare faves, I thought I’d do something a bit different this month and show you my beauty favourites.
Narrowing it down to just five things from my collection was a tough job. I could easily have written a post dedicated to only brow products but I enjoyed the challenge of finding my current five faves that I couldn’t live without.
Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara (£9.99, Boots)
Mascara is probably my number one beauty item and I’m always trying new products and discovering new favourites, but this Revlon mascara is the one I’m reaching for most right now.
While it doesn’t do anything more spectacular than any other mascara I own, it works its magic quickly, meaning I can use this when I’m rushing around getting ready for work and it gives me beautiful, volumized lashes without the need to comb out clumps or apply multiple coats.
NYX Eyebrow Gel in brunette (£6, Boots)
I haven’t had this long (it featured in my summer makeup look last month) but I love the look I can create with this. With the damage I did to my natural brows in my teenage years, brow products are another beauty essential for me and I find this gel gives me stay-put brows with zero hassle!
Rimmel Fresher Face Foundation (£7.49, Superdrug)
I first tried a sample of this foundation and loved it so treated myself to the full-size pot. I wouldn’t use this for days when I want full coverage but it makes my skin look glowy and fresh for everyday looks. The only thing I’m not sure about is the packaging as it comes in a round pot with no pump dispenser so I have to dip my sponge or brush in the product to use it.
L’Oreal Infallible Gel Crayon Eyeliner in browny crush (£4.99, Boots)
After years of using Avon Glimmerstick eyeliners and my all-time favourite Avon Supershock gel eyeliner, I moved on to trying new things and found this gel crayon in a gorgeous brown shade. I’m still trying out new colours but this is great for every day.
Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in rendezvous (£7.99, Boots)
When it came to choosing a lip product for this post, I could have written a book on my favourites but this is my go-to summer lip colour. I’ve already raved about it all over my blog so no need to go into detail but it’s a gorgeous and moisturising colour.
Let me know what your current beauty faves are! x
I haven’t tried any of these but looking to try them after reading you post 🙂 My current favourite has got to be my Rimmel Stay Matte powder even though it smashed the other day haha!

It really is! I haven’t done a favourites in so long as I started my blog up again after leaving it for a year. But I might do one now 🙂

I used the Rimmel Fresher Skin last summer, and it was really lovely. The packaging doesn’t bother me so much, because I would dab a bit on my face and blend it through with my RT sponge. However, I do prefer a bit of a higher coverage.
Haven’t tried anything else from here, but I love chubby stick lip products, so I’ll keep an eye out for the Revlon ones (if you like these, the No.7 ones are lovely too)

Yeah I think I’ll get more product out of the pot than I would a pump one to be fair. It is super light coverage though. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check them out! X

do you remember the Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse days? That used to be in a pot, it makes me feel nostalgic for those days as well 😛
