Coral Lip Picks

I tend to go through phrases of brights and nudes when it comes to lips but coral is the perfect summer colour. Coral lips look great with a tan and the colour really makes my green eyes stand out so I picked five favourites for you:

The classic lippie: MUA Lipstick in Coral Flush (£1, Superdrug)

Can we just talk about how amazing this lipstick is for £1? Seriously, £1! I wore this for work today over my Avon coral lipliner and it stayed put most of the day.

The lip crayon: Revlon Balm Stain in Rendezvous (£7.99, Boots)

I rave about this all the time so no need to say much on this one! It’s a really balmy, moisturising summer colour.

The lip plumper: Avon Mark. 3D Plumping Lipstick in Cantaloupe (RRP £8, currently £4.50, Avon)

This is a nude-toned coral that applies great and is pretty long lasting. I can’t say I noticed any lip plumping effects (it doesn’t tingle or anything like other lip plumpers) but the colour is gorgeous and it makes the lips look smooth and nourished.

The matte: Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Coral Fever

Sorry for the amount of Avon in this post but this is the only truly matte lipstick in my collection and it’s a lovely bright coral. I love how long lasting this is but it can look a little drying so is nice to combine with a gloss sometimes.

The liquid lipstick: Bourjois Rogue Edition Velvet Lipstick in Peach Club (£8.99, Boots)

The colour of this is stunning for summer but it doesn’t last ages on me. It dries matte but doesn’t feeling drying on my lips and the cute size is perfect for popping in my handbag.
