Hi lovelies! I’ve been so excited for Halloween but I haven’t yet gotten around to creating some makeup looks to share with you. I plan on using the creepy doll look for my own costume this year so this post is more of a practice than a tutorial! If you want a real tutorial, there are tons of great ones on YouTube, which is where I got the idea.
First, I prepped and primed my skin with the NYX Angel Veil Primer and the undereyes with e.l.f. Undereye Primer.
I’m not using foundation as I want a pale, matte base so I used my Sleek Colour Correcting Palette in the orange shade under my eyes and applied the green to any redness around my nose. I then added coverage with L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in porcelain under my eyes and Collection Lasting Perfection on any blemishes.
To make my face look paler, I first applied the pearly white shade from my La Roc concealer palette and then mattified it with white face paint.
For the doll eye makeup, I mixed the two matte grey shades from the MUA Fire Vixen Palette and ran that through my crease. I applied a thin line of liquid liner with the Soap & Glory Supercat, curled my lashes and added L’Oreal Miss Manga mascara.
I used Essence Liner in Say Hi Light for my waterline, Avon Supershoock in black to tightline and then drew circles with my face paint stick below my eyes to make them look unnaturally large. I outlined the circles with a Helen E black pencil liner and then drew on pretend lashes.
The face cracks are the most fun and probably the most difficult part of this look. I drew them with the same pencil liner and then went back to that grey eyeshadow with a detailer brush to give them some depth. I also drew some lines around my mouth and the sides of my nose with the same grey shadow before adding a circle of Makeup Revolution blush in the shade tease to my cheeks.
For brows, I drew an arch and filled in with the Avon Glimmerstick Brow Definer in soft black.
With the rest of the look complete, I finished with L’Oreal Lip Paint in King Pink just on the centre of my lips in heart shape.
Hope you like it! x
Very nicely done
