Halloween Makeup #2 Glam Glitter Witch

There’s a trend these days to shun the traditional Halloween looks in favour of something more unique but I personally think you can’t go wrong with a classic witch look. Especially if you put your own take on it!

I’ve done many witch looks over the years from black wigs and broomsticks to full on green face paint and plastic crooked noses but I did a similar look to this a couple of years back for a Halloween party and decided to share a glittery glam take on the classic spooky makeup.

Steps:

Do your base how you want- I wanted a glowy glam look with medium coverage so I used a brightening primer and mixed liquid illuminator with my foundation.

Prime your eyes and apply a grey shadow loosely in your crease, taking this higher onto your brow bone. Add a matte black, concentrating this more in your crease and blend lots! Pat a shimmery or glittery black onto the centre of your lid and tap a little glitter primer over the top before carefully applying the glitter.

Clean up the eyes if required with concealer and take this under your eyes if you need extra coverage and set with powder.

I’m sure there’s better tutorials out there for the cobweb but I just did this from a visual reference. Take a black liquid liner and draw a line curving outwards from the outer corner of your eye, point another line upwards so it just touches your eyebrow, angle the third line in between these two points and draw the final line a little below the first one you did from your lower lash line. Connect the four lines with C shapes in the three sections between them, leaving a gap at the edges of your lines. Add some depth if you like with the grey shadow.

Run a black or dark grey liner under your eyes and tighlight with a black liner if required, taking this black into the inner corners and extending the point towards your nose. Add lots of mascara, or lashes if you’re braver than me!

Contour your cheekbones and the sides of your nose if you want with a little of the same grey eyeshadow and adds lots of highlighter basically everywhere else on your face for added glam!

I don’t have a black lipstick but this is the perfect look to pull out your darker lippies! I opted for the black shade from the MUA lip transformer and applied Collection liquid lipstick in a deep purple over the top.

I didn’t do anything fancy with my brows (this is what they looked like after filling them in as normal this morning) but you could make them look extra witchy by overdrawing the with black pencil.
