November Favourites

I can’t believe that we’re practically in December! Cue the festive posts! I haven’t decided if I should participate in blogmas this year but I wanted to get some of the more mundane blogs out of the way first, starting with my favourites for the month.

It seems ages since I did a proper favourites post. Not because I haven’t tried anything new but because I just haven’t really fallen in love with anything enough to gush about it on my blog. When I realised there are quite a few things this month, I knew it was time to put a post together!

So, what have I been loving in November?

Ps…Pure Glow Highlighting Palette

I recently did a post on the single Primark Pure Glow highlighters which have proved to be some of my faves, but for £5 this palette is amazing for the money! It comes with four shades (which I completely forgot to get swatches of!)- an icy white, a gold, a champagne and a pink. While they’re not all the most wearable shades on my skin tone, they layer so well together so I can get the perfect shade.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Whenever I try anything on the pricey side, I always secretly hope I won’t love it so that it won’t be expensive to repurchase! Although the shade I have (medium brown) is probably a little dark, I can’t express how much I love this pomade over the cheaper Makeup Revolution alternative. It applies smoothly, doesn’t feel dry and makes my brows look great!

Oskia Citylife I-Zone Balm

I luckily received this in this year’s Cult Beauty goody bag since there’s no way I would part with the £55 cash to buy it! At first, I didn’t really notice what this was doing but, after applying the balm to my lips each night, I realised that I wasn’t needing my lip scrub as much. It can be used around the eye area too but I haven’t really tried that yet.

Mitchum Advanced Control Deodorant

Not normally something I’d feature in a favourites post but I just thought I’d mention this. Again, something I didn’t really think much about until I realised that I literally wasn’t sweating all day after wearing this!

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme

I first tried these a few months ago and thought they were good but probably not something I would repurchase. After not using them for a while though, I felt like they had actually faded some of my skin’s pigmentation and so I’ve been loving using these pads again!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer

I love the shade selection with this bronzer! I have mine in the shade 03, which is a little on the lighter side for me but perfect for natural makeup. I adore the cute packaging and just love how it looks on my face! The Body Shop frequently have offers and codes going on too so I picked this up with 40% off!

wet n wild Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette

I mentioned this in a mini wet n wild haul a while ago and, now I’ve had chance to play around with it, I’m really impressed. The shades compliment each other so well (they are labelled with shades intended for the brow bone, crease, eyelid and definer shades), last all day with a primer and just feel so soft and smooth to apply. Well worth picking up!

Makeup Revolution Life on the Dance Floor Guest List Lipstick in Head Turner

With my lipstick collection getting a bit out of hand, it’s rare I wear anything long enough to consider it a favourite. With this new MUR lipstick though, I just can’t stop wearing it! These are their sparklers lipsticks, released to go alongside their new eyeshadow palettes of the same name. The shade head turner goes with the matching Guest List palette (which I do also own) and is a browny-mauve shade. Initially, I thought the colour was a bit dark for me but it’s my perfect shade when blotted out! Plus, it’s really creamy and lasts….well, not all day because what bullet lipstick does but still impressive staying power on me!
