Friday Faves: Red Lipsticks

It’s been a while since I did a Friday faves. I had originally planned to do my favourite lipsticks or liquid lipsticks but that was just too general and way too hard to decide! I don’t wear red lipstick as much as I used to but, with Valentine’s Day around the corner, picking my fave red lips seemed appropriate.

Makeup Revolution Life on the Dancefloor After Party Lipstick Past Midnight (£3, Superdrug)

This is a very me shade of deep red. Plus look at that glittery packaging!

Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick 111 (£5.49, Boots)

My classic Kate Moss lipstick had to make the list. For ages, this was my favourite ever red lipstick. Special mention to the deeper red shade 107 too.

wet n wild Megalast Lipstick Spotlight Red (£2.99, Amazon)

I don’t love the formula of this and the packaging feels cheap but this is such a pretty vibrant red.

Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick Lovedrunk (£16.50, Urban Decay)

I have the mini of this and I adore the gold tube and glittery finish but I haven’t really found UD lipsticks to be anything special.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Star Crossed ($6.50, ColourPop)

I had to feature a liquid lip and this ColourPop one is the perfect choice! It’s a deep statement red with that stay-put ultra matte formula.

Stila Stay All Day Beso Shimmer (£16, Beauty Bay)

This metallic red is what I wore for my work’s Christmas party as it’s the ideal festive shade and it stays all day!
