Palette of the Week #8 Morphe 15N Review & Swatches

This week’s palette review is the Morphe 15N. I’ve had this 15-shade palette since before Christmas and it had remained in my palette drawer unswatched. I had even considered giving it away because the shades aren’t really anything different to what I already own IRL but then I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did.

The palette comes with six shimmer shades and nine mattes and retails for £15 in the UK. They’re all pigmented and apply smoothly, even the mattes. With primer underneath, they last all day but the shimmers do fade as most shadows do on me.

The packaging feels lovely and sturdy, housed in standard black plastic with the new Morphe logo. It comes with a handy mirror and all the shade names are printed inside, which I love. I hope more brands start doing this!

Overall, I feel like this is a step in the right direction for the Morphe brand. What drew me into this palette most is the matte purple shades rather than rows of mud-coloured matttes found in other Morphe palettes. There are still a fair few of those brown transition shades but you do need them if you want to get a complete look out of one palette.

The shimmers are beautiful but they’re not anything special if you already own similar colours. The shade selection is pretty similar to the Morphe 35F which I already own so I probably didn’t need this one but I’m really glad I tried it!

Have you tried this palette? Let me know your thoughts!
