My Week in Lipsticks

This week has been a busy one with my ongoing job hunt and a few other activities planned, so I thought it was the perfect time to talk about the lipsticks I wore this week.

Monday- lunch with a friend and meeting a recruiter

I started the week with a bold deep red, opting for a matte formula for added staying power.

Tuesday- in the house

I didn’t leave the house at all on Tuesday so I usually don’t wear makeup on those days but sometimes it makes me feel better!

Wednesday- Out and about meeting a friend

This has become a go-to colour for me since picking it up in my guilt-free Boots haul in January.

Thursday- corporate office interview

I paired my fave lip pencil with my fave gloss for a simple nude look.

Friday- luxury hotel interview and drinks with friends

You can’t beat a classic red lip when you’re going for a touch of glam! I wanted to have that glam look for my interview, plus I headed out later that evening still with the same lipstick on.

Saturday- friend’s birthday meal out

Ciate Liquid Velvet Sydney

This was actually the first outing for this Ciate liquid lipstick but I grabbed it as it’s a cute size for slipping in my handbag and I wanted a nude pink lip as I’d gone bold with my eye makeup.

Sunday- cooking for family

I didn’t technically leave the house so it could have easily been a no makeup occasion but I found this Primark lip crayon that I hadn’t yet tried out and I’m really impressed so far!
