Everyday Makeup Stash: May 2018

I’ve done a few of these production rotations now and I wasn’t really looking forward to sorting out my May stash, but I have found that it helps me do my makeup quicker and get through products faster so I know it’s worth doing!

Here’s April’s post, in case you missed it.

So, here’s how I did with the products I chose last time and what I will be using for May!

Everday May 01

Primer: Revlon PhotoReady, Becca First Light and Becca Back Light Primers, Benefit POREfessional, e.l.f. undereye primer

I’m not a massive fan of the Revlon primer but I’m going to use it up. Everything else has been in my collection for months!

Foundation: L’Oreal Pro Glow, PS…My Perfect Colour Ultimate Longwear, The Body Shop BB Cream

I’m still trying out the Pro Glow for an upcoming review and have decided to throw in the Primark foundation that’s supposed to dupe Estee Lauder Double Wear and a BB cream for light makeup days.

Concealer: Rimmel Match Perfection, NYX Full Coverage pot, L’Oreal True Match

Exactly the same as last month minus the Conceal & Define which is empty and then I’ve added the L’Oreal True Match to try and finish it up as it might be expired…

Other base: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Liquid Opal mini, Clinique Pore Refining Solutions, Soap & Glory The Fill Monty, Becca Under Eye Brightener

These products haven’t really changed- I still need to use them up!

Everyday May 03

Powder: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish, Avon Magix HD Finishing Powder, e.l.f. Under Eye Setting Powder

My Rimmel powder is finally done and I don’t think my CT powder will be far behind looking at the size of the visible pan!

Blush: Essence Matt Touch Blush in Peach me Up

I haven’t really worn this since I did a full face of Essence Cosmetics so I decided to give it another go!

Everyday May 04

Bronzer/Contour: Max Factor Creme Bronzer in light gold, Revlon Foundation Stick Rich Ginger

As much as I love my Honey Bronzer from The Body Shop, I do have quite a few in my drawer to get through and I haven’t really given the Max Factor a chance yet. I think it might be a bit too light for my slight tan at the moment but we’ll try it!

Highlight: L’Oreal Infallible Highlight Stick Oh my Jewels, Becca Opal mini, I Heart Makeup Peach & Glow Palette

I’m not really getting on with most powder highlights at the moment as my skin is quite textured so I’ve just kept a pink-toned palette that I hardly reach for and my fave mini Opal along with the L’Oreal cream stick highlight- review coming soon!

Everyday May 05

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hill Dipbrow Pomade, Maybelline Brow Satin, NYX Control Freak Gel

The only change here is that I’ve swapped my Revolution pencil for my old favourite from Maybelline and finally finished my fave L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper.

Eyes: Essence I Heart Colour Intensifying Base, Barry M Crushed Jewel liquid shadow in Cloud Nine, Essence Metal Shock 03

Liquid shadows are great for easy eye looks and the Barry M shadow got plenty of love last month so I decided it was time to focus on getting a few more liquid shadows used up as they usually have quite short use dates!

Everyday May 02

Mascara: Ciate Wonderwand, L’Oreal Miss Manga

I’ve called it quits on my mini Roller Lash. There was probably still a usable amount left but it no longer applied like it used to and I’ve been trying to use it up for months so I don’t know why it isn’t empty!

Liner: Avon Glimmerstick Cosmic Brown, NYX Glide on Liner Gun Metal

I’m slowly getting through my eyeliner collection and have picked an everyday brown and the shade Gun Metal from NYX which is a pretty, almost black colour that I can use for tightlining.

Don’t forget to check out my April empties post to find out what I thought of everything!
