Simple Summer Glam Makeup Look

I know it’s technically Spring but the weather has been so warm here in England that it feels like we’ve skipped a season. Quick glam looks are some of my favourites to do but I don’t want to wear a heavy face of makeup when it’s hot outside so I came up with this light makeup version.

Products used:

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade Medium Brown
  • Essence Make Me Brow Browny Brows
  • NYX Control Freak Clear Brow Gel

I started with natural brows, which is something I’m loving at the moment as I’m using clear brow gel to brush the hairs upwards a bit, pomade to fill in the tail and shape and my Essence brow gel to set and add some texture without filling in the front for a more natural look.

  • NYX Glitter Primer
  • Touch in Sol Metallist Shadow Liquid Foil & Glitter Duo in Talia
  • Rimmel Natural Bronzer
  • Clinique Lash Primer
  • Ciate Wonderwand Mascara & LO’real Miss Manga Mascara

I love a quick glam eye look so opted for a simple blend of bronzer in my crease and then the Touch in Sol liquid shadow and glitter duo. A bit of sparkle makes even the simplest of looks more glam! I used lash primer which I don’t often do and build up my lashes to be as dramatic as possible.

I wanted natural, radiant skin so went for one of my favourite combos in the Becca Backlight primer and L’Oreal Pro Glow foundation, finishing with cream highlight and a light bronzing around my face.

  • The Body Shop Matte Liquid Lips Tahiti Hisbiscus
  • Primark dark pink lip liner

Bright lips are another way to turn up the glam but I did blot mine a little for a more subtle look.

What’s your favourite way to wear glam makeup? x

  1. I find it so hard to do my makeup in the summer! I plan to do minimal makeup with a glowy finish and end up with full face glam 😭😂 x Great post!
