I don’t do a favourites post every single month because I only like to talk about the products I genuinely love, but in October I realised that I was actually enjoying a lot more non-makeup items than usual. Keep on reading to find out what I’ve been loving this month…
PS…My Perfect Colour Powder
I picked this up for £2 in Primark in York after forgetting to bring a powder with me and I wasn’t expecting much but this really performs! It sets my face, keeps me shine-free just as well as any other powder and even has a little coverage. I have since picked up the loose powder version to try!
Skin79 BB Cream
I’m using the gold variety of this at the minute from a sample pack I got and I can see why everyone raves about this product. It’s a little grey-toned for my skin but once blended in it gives me a natural flawless base that stays put all day.
Barry M Molten Metal Nail Paint in Pink Luxe
Barry M have had some gorgeous polish releases recently and I usually end up picking them up only for them to sit unused in my collection but I keep reaching for this stunning pink/gold shade.
Soap & Glory Bubbles in Paradise
I love a good Soap & Glory body wash, and this new Call of Fruits line is really nice. The packaging is oddly summery for an Autumn release unless we got it late in the UK or something? But it smells great, foams up on my skin nicely and makes me feel all cosy.
Utan & Tone Coconut Tanning Water
In fairness, this is the only facial tanning spray I’ve used so perhaps there are other decent options but I do know I really like this one. The tan it gives is quick and natural and can be easily topped up. A winner for winter pastiness!
Skinfood Avocado Lip Scrub
I can’t not love this lip scrub and its adorable avocado packaging. I was on the hunt for something that exfoliated my lips and left them super nourished and this ticks all the boxes. Also, not sure if it’s just a coincidence but lipstick seems to be lasting so much better on me than it ever did since using this.
Deep red lipsticks
This is a bit of a vague one but I’m loving dark red on my lips this season. I did a post on my favourite red lipsticks last year and I’m loving two of the lipsticks I mentioned then- The Revolution Sparklers Lipstick in Past Midnight and Urban Decay Lovedrunk along with the new Primark PS…Lustre Lipstick in Lava.
I hadn’t realised how similar these shades were until I swatched them:
