If you’re a regular reader, you probably know that I love the PS… beauty range found in Primark stores but I know that a lot of people are still put off trying their makeup, or don’t know what’s best to pick up. Like other brands, their products can be hit and miss but I think I’ve found some hits that you should try.
Primer Water (£2)
While I can’t say this primer spray does anything incredible for my makeup, it’s great to try if you’re someone who likes testing primers and setting sprays. For the price, this is even great if you just want a spray on hand to dampen your beauty blender.
My Perfect Colour Concealer (£2)
I didn’t put a foundation in this list because my Primark never seems to have them in stock so I’m not sure how easy it is to pick them up but I love their dropper foundation and the Double Wear dupe. This concealer seems to be permanent in their collection though so I thought it was worth mentioning. It’s not the best coverage in the world but I like this as a lightweight under eye concealer.
Velvet Matte Lip Crayons (£2)
You might have noticed I’ve been obsessed with their 90p lustre lipsticks recently and I definitely recommend them but I think their lip crayons are so easy to use and the shade Uncovered is one of my all-time favourite lip products.
Pure Highlighter (£3)
I wasn’t sure about including this one because I don’t think the Pure range will be permanent but all the highlighters I’ve tried from Primark have been good, to be honest. Their Pure Glow palette and the singles they have in the new cardboard packaging are also incredible for the price.
My Perfect Colour Powder (£2)
The one pictured is the loose powder version but I also love the pressed powder. For £2, these powders work just as well as much pricier products and come in a decent range of shades depending on your local Primark.
I have tried a lot of great products from Primark’s beauty range and I think they’re really upping their game- even with skincare now too! It’s just annoying that they release so many collections that aren’t permanent.
I WISH Texas had a Primark. I studied abroad in England and fell in love with that store.
