Another month, another empties post. I didn’t seem to get through products as quickly as normal so my empties are mostly skincare products! I’m desperately trying to clear out as much as I can before Christmas, though I seem to have upcoming haul posts with products that have filled the space I’ve made. Oops…
Makeup
Revolution Pro Prime & Hydrate
I really liked this primer for an everyday base when I wasn’t using a mattifying or glowy primer. The pump packaging is great and the coconut scent and moisturising consistency reminded me of the Too Face Hangover Primer, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of that one.
Repurchase? Yes when I’ve used up some others
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
There was some of this left but I dropped it and it smashed so I thought no point trying to salvage it! Much like the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, the packaging of this bronzer is very cheap and basic but this is a decent drugstore bronzer. It’s not my favourite anymore but I’ve mostly been using it for running through my crease in basic eye looks.
Repurchase? Probably not
Skincare
Revolution 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc Skin Blemish and Pore Refining Serum
This is the first thing I tried from Revolution’s skincare line and I feel like it really did the job. I’ve been suffering from breakouts for months now and this really helped to clear my skin. It didn’t stop new blemishes from forming or do much to refine my pores as far as I can tell but just helping fade my scarring was enough for me!

TonyMoly The Egg Pore Blackhead Steam Balm
Mixed feelings on this. Most of the time I wasn’t sure what it was doing for my skin but I also saw it actually remove surface blackheads right before my eyes so I’ve got to give it credit for that. The packaging is cute but you don’t actually get that much product in here.
Repurchase? Maybe
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm
This is the first cleansing balm I’ve actually enjoyed having not been impressed by the Body Shop’s offering. It melts makeup away, doesn’t cause skin irritation and feels luxurious. The only thing to be wary of is that it tended to cause my eyes to fog up if I had contacts in. If you have the budget, I would recommend this but you don’t need it.
Repurchase? Not at full price but would use again
Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap
I prefer the Enzyme cleanser from MB but this was a go-to option when my skin had a freak out as I knew it seemed to get on well with my skin. I used this mostly as an in-shower cleanser or sometimes like a face mask as it’s not any good for removing makeup but great as a little pamper or a second step cleanse.
Repurchase? Yes but not right now
Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Pads
I know everyone loves the glycolic pads and I do too but I think these deserve more love!
Repurchase? Yes
Biore Charcoal Micellar Water
I got this mini bottle free with something and I liked it for travel but it’s not the best micellar water I’ve ever used. The charcoal aspect also wasn’t great on my eyes either so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re sensitive.

Bath & Body
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter
I hate the thick feeling of body butters and how much I forget to use them but I do love the scent of this one. I ended up crushing an old powder highlight and mixing it with this to give my skin some glow which I liked but I’m not sure if I’m allergic to something in this as it sometimes felt hot on my skin after applying.
Repurchase? Probably not
Avon Blackberry & Vanilla Room Spray
I’m slowly coming to the end of my extension room spray collection. This scent wasn’t my fave but it did the job and I really like these sprays.

Jack Wills Hope Cover Body Scrub
This mini is from an advent calendar from way too long ago than I care to remember. I liked it, it smelt good and was nice a moisturising but not quite scrubby enough for me.
Jack Wills English Velvet Hand Lotion
I’m not a big lover of hand creams and barely ever remember to use them but this mini was kept on my bedside table to try and remind me and I did really enjoy the scent of this one more than anything!
Imperial Leather Mermazing Bath Soak
I got this because I bloody love mermaids but I wasn’t all that impressed with the scent or the bubbles really. Okay but nothing special.
Repurchase? No
M&S Peach & Almond Foam Bath
I sadly felt the same way about this pricier offering from Marks & Spencers. I liked the smell but the bubbles didn’t last very long and it’s just not worth the money compared to cheaper products out there.

Masks & misc
Skinfood Potato Sheet Mask
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this. Considering the packet says it will leave your skin like moist potatoes (like…is this a thing?), I think it did a good job of calming blemishes and left my face feeling smooth and looking fresh.
Repurchase? Yes
Tarte Pack Your Bags Under Eye Gels
Nice for a pampering session but nothing all that noticeable. I don’t particularly suffer with dark under eye circles so I’m never really impressed with these sorts of products but they’re very cooling and feel nice.
Repurchase? No
CORSX Clear Fit Master Patch
These are those clear stickers you put on spots to supposedly get rid of them. While I don’t think these are as effective as other spot treatments on the market, you can definitely see they’re doing something on spots because the patches change colour.

That’s everything I got through in November! x
