Brows are a huge part of my makeup, and I realised that I’ve never reviewed a brow product on my blog before. So today I have a review of the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara for you.
Packaging
This comes in a standard plastic rectangular tube. It’s a little larger than most brow gels I’ve tried- more mascara-shaped but it’s pretty basic and sturdy.
The wand on this doesn’t look quite the same as others I’ve found in pictures. It doesn’t have a ball on the end as such, it’s just a curved wand that’s fluffy on one side and flat on the other. I’m not sure if they’ve changed it or if this is just how the UK version looks.
Price
This retails for £5.99 in the UK for 7.6ml of product, which is in line with similar drugstore products. It’s the cheapest on the market but also not the most expensive.
Effect
As you can see in the above before and after pic, the effect of this alone isn’t anything spectacular on my sparse brows but it does help them to look a bit fuller and fluffier.
With a brow pencil or pomade, this brow gel just helps to shape my brows and hold them in place.
Wear
This manages to keep my brows looking freshly applied all day and has a really impressive hold. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it can look and feel a little glue-like on my brows compared to something like Gimme Brow.
Overall, I really enjoy the fluffy look this gives my brows and I will continue to use it but I’m not sure if I will repurchase or not. I’ve tried a few brow gels in the past that I think I like more.
Oh wow, I love that brush 😍😍
