2019 Blog Content Ideas

I’m publishing this list as a way of reminding myself what content I plan to write in 2019 and also to welcome your thoughts and ideas. Last year I was a bit all over the place with starting new blog series and dropping them again and I still don’t have a regular posting schedule but here are some thoughts I had on 2019 blog content:

Skincare Ingredients

I’ve seen others do ingredient breakdowns and I find it really interesting. I’m trying to be mindful of what I put on my face so I thought starting with skincare would be best.

Palette of the week/eyeshadow palette usage series

I started this series last year as a way of rotating my eyeshadow palettes but I quickly got bored of it/still didn’t really use my palettes enough so I’m hoping to pick up something similar for 2019.

Everyday makeup stash

This was a really popular series I did last year so I’m hoping you all still enjoy it. I do still rotate my makeup, I just stopped doing it monthly. What I might do this time is summarise products I’ve been using and talk about what I liked and didn’t like so I can get through my stash quickly.

Video content/YouTube

I’ve just started my YouTube channel which is exciting so I really want to utilise video content more in 2019. I’ll never be a blogger who stops writing and just posts video links but it’s something new for me.

Beauty advice/guides

I’m no expert when it comes to most things beauty but I do enjoy reading other tips and I think it adds some variety to my content.

Digital marketing tips- SEO, social media etc.

With this being my area of expertise, I’m not too sure why I don’t share this with you all more often. If you have anything you’d like me to cover, please do let me know!
