Ten Empties #1

I’ve been toying with this idea for a while now. I love reading empties posts but writing my own on a monthly basis was becoming such a chore because I go through products fairly quick. Rachael over at Helpless Whilst Drying does the best empties so I’ve stolen adopted her idea of doing them in piles of ten.

Essence All About Matt Powder

I didn’t actually finish this but the compact broke and then the remaining powder smashed inside and all broke off. I think this is a decent drugstore power but I did get through it pretty quick and mine broke.

Repurchase? Maybe

L’Oreal Micellar Water

I really like this stuff but I never see anyone talking about it? It is just a micellar water to me as I don’t suffer with sensitive skin or anything so I guess they all do the same thing really.

Repurchase? Yes

ASDA Bubble Bath

This is a great affordable bubble bath that I liked just as much as pricier options. It doesn’t have a scent name but I assume from the packaging it’s raspberry.

Repurchase? Already picked up a different scent

Elegant Touch Instant Dry Nail Spray

I’m forever smudging freshly painted nails so this quick dry spray was perfect for me.

Repurchase? Yes

PS…Brush Cleanser

I had mixed feelings about this as a spot cleaner for my brushes. I thought it actually did a pretty good job of cleaning but it took forever to dry.

Repurchase? Maybe

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavander

I love the aloe and rosewater version of this but this was my first time trying the lavender variety. Luckily, I liked it just as much and found it really soothing on the skin and great for use at bedtime.

Repurchase? Yes

Lacoste Touch of Pink

I’ve had this perfume lingering in my collection for too long now so I’m glad to have it used up. It used to be one of my favourites but I have others I prefer now. I do think it’s an affordable perfume though so maybe something I’ll go back to in the future.

Repurchase? Maybe

PS…Glow Wipes

A standard pack of wipes from Primark. I can’t really comment on the glow aspect since I didn’t use these very much on my face but I love how affordable Primark wipes are and I always pick them up for wiping up swatches etc.

Repurchase? Yes

Garnier Hyaluronic Sheet Mask

I think mixing this mask yourself is a bit gimmicky but I do love a sheet mask.

Repurchase? Probably not

Bonus

These are few minis I used up on holiday so I thought I’d just add them in here as extras.

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream

I ended up using most of this on my sunburnt patches…oops. But I did enjoy it. It’s not easy to get hold of it the UK currently but I would buy the full size if I could.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

I loved this mini perfume so much I’ve already purchased the full size!

Champneys Exotic Retreat Body Glow

I quite like the scent of this but I wasn’t a huge fan of this as a scrub as it left my skin feeling greasy.

What do you think to this style of empties? Should I keep it?
