Ten Empties #7

Once again, I’m getting through products so fast I almost have enough for two lots of my ten empties series. The reason I switched to ten at a time rather than monthly was that photographing and writing about everything I use in a month was becoming difficult, but now I have the problem that I just can’t keep up with how quickly I get through products!

Let me know in the comments if you prefer ten empties or monthly empties. Let’s get on with it!

Benefit Precisely, My Pencil

Benefit do great brow products and this is no exception but I go through skinny brow pencils so quickly, it’s not worth the expense for me. There are plenty of affordable options on the market that do the same thing.

Repurchase? No

PS…Vitamin Primer

This is the moisturising type of primer that I generally prefer. I’m not sure if this is still available in Primark or not but it’s very affordable and worth picking up if you see it.

Repurchase? I have a mountain of primers to get through but I would use this again

Skincare

Revolution x Jake Jamie Watermelon Mask

I loved this hydrating face mask. When I first got it, I thought it was tiny but the cute jar packaging contains 50ml which is pretty standard. I did get through it very quickly though.

Repurchase? Yes, but not right away

Sanctuary Spa Foaming Micellar Water

This is the first foaming micellar water I’ve tried and I loved it until I discovered the SVR PhysioPure Micellar Water which is my new favourite. It was really fun to try a foam micellar water but I think I’d rather spend the money on other options for makeup removal.

Laneige Fresh Calming Toner & Laneige Fresh Calming Serum

I’ve grouped these together because they were minis. They were both fine and maybe good if you have sensitive skin but I’ve definitely tried products with better results for me.

Bath & Body

Wilko Fruits Watermelon & Guava Body Souffle

The Wilko Fruits own brand range from Wilkinsons is so underrated. This is a similar thing to The Body Shop Body Yoghurts only much cheaper. As someone who hates using body lotions, this is perfect because it sinks into the skin so quickly.

Repurchase? Yes

Mitchum Deodorant

I haven’t used another since discovering this. Absolute fave!

Repurchase? Yes

Haircare

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture

This is still one of my fave conditioning treatments several bottles later. It’s pretty affordable and does the job for me.

Repurchase? Yes

Misc

Kiss Brush on Nail Glue

This stuff is awful. Brush-on glue never works as well for me but this was just useless and nails barely lasted an hour after using it.

Repurchase? Nope

PS…Salicylic Acid Sheet Mask

I’ve tried this before and didn’t really remember what I thought of it but I picked it up again when it was reduced to £1 and my opinion is still kind of meh. Nothing bad but nothing noticeable either.

Repurchase? I’ll try and remember not to

PS…Hydrate Face Wipes & Wilko Face Wipes

I’m still working my way through the Wilko wipes I bought as I’m not enjoying them but I do like the Primark hydrating ones.

  1. I still prefer the 10 empties posts, even if that means you have to post empties more often. I do believe it helps keep my attention that way!
