7 Products I Wish There Were Dupes Of

I guess you could call this ‘products I’d rather pay less money for’ since everything in this list is here simply because I wish they were cheaper! There are other reasons to want a dupe of a particular product- if you’re going cruelty-free, for example, or you just no longer want to support a brand, but for me, this list was all about the money.

Morphe Continuous Setting Spray (£15, Boots)

I know £15 isn’t a bank-breaking expense but it’s still pretty damn expensive for a setting spray. Particularly when I go through this stuff like water. To my knowledge, no other brand has released an aerosol setting mist like this one but I wouldn’t be surprised if a brand like Revolution came up with one.

Lancome Prep & Hydrate Primer (£29, Look Fantastic)

I feel like there probably is a cheaper alternative to this hydrating primer somewhere out there and I just haven’t found it yet. Lancome is my favourite luxury brand and this is probably my favourite primer because of its ability to smooth my skin and still look radiant and hydrating.

Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo (£6.99, Boots)

This is a boring product that’s made it to countless empties posts so I won’t go into too much detail but basically, this is the only shampoo I’ve found that does anything for my flaky scalp. Costing £6.99 a bottle and at the rate I go through it, I feel like I’m spending way too much on shampoo so I”d just love to find something cheaper that can do the job

GlamGlow GlowStarter Moisturiser (£36, Boots)

Like the Lancome primer, this is a glowy base product that probably does have a more affordable dupe somewhere but I don’t know what.

Peter Thomas Roth Masks

I love PTR but I think the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask (£37.50, Look Fantastic) and Irish Mud Moor Mask (£50, Beauty Bay) are my faves and the ones I don’t know of dupes for. I like other exfoliating masks and other detox masks but I haven’t found anything I like as much as these ones.

Skin79 BB Cream (£25.50, Look Fantastic)

As someone who doesn’t wear foundation a lot, I was blown away by the coverage and natural finish of this BB cream. But coming in at around the £25 mark, it’s a little pricey for me. I know there are plenty of BB creams on the market but I’m yet to find one that compares to this.

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (from £18, FeelUnique)

I’m pretty sure Aldi did release a dupe for this body cream but I never got to try it and I don’t think it was available permanently. I don’t know if any other worthy dupes exist but I’m keen to find out as I love the feel and scent of this cream.

Let me know if you do know of any dupes for these products!

  1. Oh god, I wish there was a dupe for the glamglow moisturizer, I’ve been using it for over a year and I love it. Actually the scent alone puts me in a good mood so I’m not sure a dupe would do the same ahah but I’d love to save on the splurge
