Project Pan: 20 in 2020

I’ve had this post sitting in my drafts so long, I have finished a couple of the targets already. My product use is obviously different to what it would be normally given these weird times but I still like these kinds of posts.

Although I didn’t quite hit my target of 19 products in 2019, picking target items to try and use up is a great concept and it would be silly to try anything less than 20 for this crazy 2020.

M&S Formula Absolute Sleep Cream

I got this night cream last year but it still looks barely touched. It is quite rich and heavy for me so I don’t use it much but it’s not cheap so I’d like to give it a proper go.

Soap & Glory Hand Food

Hand cream is something I never remember to use, even with a pump bottle of this stuff sitting on my bedside table. If this isn’t done by the end of the year, I think I’ll admit defeat!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I’ve already hit pan on this mini and I use it a lot for contouring my nose and in my crease. I don’t want to see it gone really because it’s a big part of my collection but I do feel like this will be an easy target.

Benefit The POREfessional Primer

Another Benefit mini and hopefully an easy target to get used up. I’ve had this sitting in my collection for way too long now as I’m not the biggest fan of silicone primers.

Revolution Pro Skin Finish in Radiance

I’ve put this on the list to finish up because the domed part of the product crumbled off and there’s hardly anything left to use. It’s the sort of product you can dust all over your face too so that should get it used up quicker.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

This concealer has been demoted to use as an eye base as the shade I have is a little too light for spot coverage but I find it too thick under my eyes. I’ve used it quite a lot but you get tons of product in here so I still think this will take some work to use up.

Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid Glitter & Foil

I have way too many liquid eyeshadows open at the moment and I’ve had a mini of this one before that dried up suer quickly so I feel like I need to get some use out of this before it does the same.

Revolution Pro Foundation Drops (done)

I don’t like to hoard foundations too much because I don’t wear it a lot and I have plenty that are probably already expired. You don’t get much product in here so I feel like it should be easy to finish up.

Revlon Uniq One Hair Treatment

I’d heard some hype for this hair product before I bought it but I haven’t really used it consistently enough to notice results on me. I’m not into haircare at all so it would be nice to just get this used up and gone.

Tarte Chrome Paint Pot in Park Avenue Princess

I rarely reach for single eyeshadow but this is such a pretty bronzey shade, I’d hate to waste it. You get way more product in here than I’ll probably ever use up but even just getting a little more use out of it would be great.

Max Factor Waterproof Liners

I have both the blue and green shades of this liquid liner open and I just don’t use them at all for everyday looks really. I doubt that I’ll get them finished up before they dry out but a bit more use out of them would be great.

Ofra Rodeo Drive

My highlight collection is getting out of hand but I’d hate to see an expensive product like this from Ofra go to waste. I’ve already made a significant dent in my mini Rodeo Drive so I’m making it a project to get some more use out of this.

UTAN & Tone Coconut Tanning Water

I’ve put this on the list because I’ve definitely had it longer than the six months recommended product life and I think it’s the sort of product that will expire.

Revolution AHA Peeling Solution

This is one of those products I’m always impressed by when I use it but I almost never remember. I think it’s because you have to leave it on for a few minutes and I’m nearly always rushing to go to sleep by the time I hit the bathroom on an evening.

ColourPop No Filter Setting Powder

Since discovering the Laura Mercier, I haven’t even looked at another powder. This ColourPop one doesn’t have much left though so I might as well get it used up and gone.

Avon Vitamin C Serum

This is another product I’ve added to the list because there’s only about a third of the bottle left and I think it will be easy to finish. This isn’t my favourite serum as I find it a bit too sticky but I’d like to use it up.

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser

I have this one sitting opened in my cupboard while I focus on other cleansers so I think I’d just like to get some use out of it in 2020 before it goes bad.

Lime Crime Wet Cherry Gloss in Maraschino Cherry

I have a few glosses and other lip products I’d like to get my use out of but I opted for this Lime Crime Wet Cherry Gloss because it’s expensive and I feel like gloss goes off quicker than other lip products. Since lip products were such a fail for me in last year’s project pan, I’ve tried to pick something realistic this time.

Soap & Glory Glow Getter

This spray-on instant tan is the one I reach for when I’m getting my legs out. It comes in an aerosol can and I feel like tanning products go off so it’s the one I’ve targetted to get used up over my other fake tans.

L’Oreal No Haircut Cream (done)

And finally, we have a haircare product that I’ve had for way too long now. The thing is, I really am due a haircut so I’m not sure this cream is going to do anything once I’ve got that fresh cut. I know I used to be a fan of this product but I think I stopped using it last time I got my hair cut.
