Featuring products from brands including Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Glamglow, Smashbox and Darphin, Estee Lauder’s limited edition beauty box comes in at £28 for 8 products including a full-size MAC lipstick.
What is Litle Box Big Day?
This beauty box has been designed to be a go-to selection of products perfect for a wedding day or bridal party. In my excitement to order, I didn’t even realise that it was wedding themed but you don’t need a big day to enjoy this little box.
What’s in the box?
The box itself is a cute, compact size featuring a simple rose gold floral design. I can see the wedding vibes just from the packaging and inside is packaged just like any beauty box with the products nestled in with gold shredded paper.
GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Mask Treatment, 15g
As a brand that’s way too expensive for me to ever buy myself, I’m always glad to try out Glamglow samples. I’m not too familiar with this one but I think it’s supposed to be a hydrating mask that can be used as a face mask or as n overnight treatment.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator, 15ml
The original Moisture Surge is my favourite ever moisturiser so I’m intrigued by this version. My skin is more on the oily side than dry but it is dehydrated so I’m interested to see how this works for me.
Smashbox Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer, 12ml
This is a cult classic primer that I’ve never tried before. I’m not a huge fan of silicone primers but I like to have the option in my collection.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick, Golden Pink, 0.9g
Eyeshadow sticks aren’t really my thing but this looks like a super pretty shade and I can see why it would look beautiful for bridal makeup. I don’t think I’ve ever tried Bobbi Brown before either.
MAC Satin Lipstick in Twig, full size
The only full-size item in the box is a MAC lipstick in the shade Twig. I don’t really get the hype with MAC lipsticks but I have Twig in miniature form and it’s my fave shade so I’m quite happy at its inclusion in this box.
Darphin 8-Flower Nectar Oil Cream, 5ml
I still don’t really get what this is but I think it’s a night cream of some sort. I haven’t heard of this brand but I’m sure I’ll get around to trying it out.
Estée Lauder Beautiful Belle, Eau de Parfum Spray, 4ml
I never pick out expensive perfumes for myself but this smells incredible and I love the fact that it’s a spray as mini perfumes are nearly always pourers.
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara, 3ml
I have about 600068 mascaras waiting to be opened already but I love mini mascaras, especially from highend brands that I wouldn’t usually buy from.
I think as a bridal beauty treat, this box is a fantastic idea. You don’t have to be getting married to enjoy these products and I still think it’s a good way of trying some of these things if you’re interested in them.
Little Box Big Day retails for £28 and is available from any of the included brands’ websites. I got mine from Clinique but MAC is also a good option as you can grab a free sample with your order. The box claims to be worth £95 which is a little ridiculous but I do think it’s good value if you think of it like buying a MAC lipstick and paying extra for the other sample-sized products.
Oh wow! This is a great price for all them products! Can i sign up through the Estee lauder website? I didn’t even know they done a beauty box! X
